How to fix Error-15 on a file conversion to QuickBooks Mac?

QuickBooks is an accounting software package available for Windows or Mac users. With this software, you can easily track and sales expenses, create estimates, create professional-looking invoices, manage customers and do a lot more other stuff without making any error. It works across multiple devices making everything work together and sync automatically from any device.

Like QuickBooks Windows, QuickBooks for Mac also requires particular specifications (Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite), 10.11 (El Capitan)) along with high-speed internet connection to get installed. This version is generally suitable for a small business (10-12 employees). However, if you have advanced inventory requirements, QuickBooks Mac is suitable for you.  It also doesn’t support multicurrency. Other features of QuickBooks Mac are:

  • Organizing expenses
  • Tracking inventory automatically
  • Control on your cash flow
  • Automate your spending
  • Dashboard overview
  • One-click reporting
  • Preparing your 1099s
  • Paperless receipt tracking
  • Full service payroll
  • Enhanced payroll

When using QuickBooks on both Windows and Mac devices, you may require converting one file to another. This is because QuickBooks for Mac doesn’t support all the features as that of its Windows version, and not all the data converts when you move your company file from Windows.
